Artist's Comments
I decided to make a drawing of my religion, the universal teachings of Siddartha Gautama, Buddhism. He is holding an atom and surrounded by strange planets and Earth, representing Buddhisms compatibility with science and its universal appeal. His hand is in the teaching gesture, representing him showing us the way to enlightenment through his wisdom. The planets are traced from a quarter, a nickle and a penny, and the Earth a teacup.
